Waw. I must say I am quite surprised. Because of this blog which was not deleted. It's been two bleeming years of inactivity. I wonder what competing blog hosts would have done. I am amazed because of the two posts I jotted down. I am Belgian, I said so and I am amazed that the two posts readable in this corner of the internet are well typed and still easily readable after all these years. I must be mastering English better than I supposed before.
I am amazed as well about how well the second post dated. I mentioned that 360 would be holding its own quite well and look how things are now. 360 is indeed keeping its act together. Both good games as well as good marketing and a splendid on-line service are making it so. The 360 is a machine to be reckoned with... and it's all good.
Less good is how Sony has been perceived these last years. They have stretched themselves into delivering a fantastic product to the masses. The latter have been cool into receiving it. Strange how a company - even though it's delivering astonishing products - can have huge crowds gathering against it. Really, I am still wondering where the Japanese company has gone wrong to feed such an outbreak of forum-based hostility.
The inclusion of BluRay? We should be grateful.
Their development of a dedicated processor? We should appreciate that.
Their showing of the Killzone trailer? What should they have done instead?
Them asking $599 for the system? Which would then be the realistic pricepoint?
No, I do not have a clue what went wrong in their marketing campaign and I am still wondering how they got to the deep end of where they were, because, granted, things are improving. And I support them. As I do, Microsoft and Nintendo.
I do not support being biased because of the sake of it. How's it referred to again? Fanboyism.
